UPGRADE FOR RELAUNCH RADIO CLIENTS
Our new B2B radio sales Website is live for Relaunch Radio clients with 15 new upgrades and features. Planning for these upgrades began last summer. Throughout the six-month process, we focused our attention on four key areas that are crucial to B2B inbound marketing and modern websites: Responsive Design, Speed, Aesthetics and Lead Generation.
NEW RESPONSIVE DESIGN
In a study by MarginMedia, 48% of visitors say if a website is not mobile-friendly, they take that as an indication the business does not care about their customers. And that number is only going to grow. That’s why we took nearly a month to wireframe and test the new website design on multiple devices with an extra level of detail to how the new layout would appear on iPhones, Androids and iPads. We even made the default page text larger so it’s more readable on tablets and phones. Detail! To see examples of how websites are built for responsive design, take a look at mediaqueri.es.
We improved page load speed 70% by scrapping the old code base and rebuilding from the ground up. Load time is more important than ever. According to research by Econsultancy, 40% of people will abandon a web page if it takes more than three seconds to load. More Speed = More Leads.
From typography to color schemes to imagery, we made sure the new design is pixel-perfect. Testing multiple sets of icons for the new contact forms may seem a bit much to some. But, when you want to produce a B2B website that delivers a WOW first impression, that’s the level of attention to detail it takes. To close more $30,000 annuals, versus $300 packages, your web presence needs to look the part. A recent Harvard study shows that 94% of website visitors create a first impression about your company within a second. In B2B, image is everything.
Making the new website design fast and attractive was just a start. We also added new features to generate more inbound advertising leads.
NOTIFICATION BAR FOR SALES PROMOTIONS
Now when you have a major sales promotion or event, we can give it big time visibility. This includes the new ‘Notification Bar’ and home page promotions panel that leads prospects to a special page and contact form with a sales description for your promotion. When a new prospect fills out the form, the Web Lead hits your inbox within 60-seconds. Cha-ching!
NEW B2B MARKETING BLOG (CONTENT MARKETING)
67% of B2B companies that blog generate more leads than those who don’t, according to Gator Research. Content Marketing is taking its place as king of the lead generating hill. It not only keeps your website fresh for Google SEO, but it increases your reputation as a marketing thought leader. We even created a series of blog posts for you that will begin projecting you as a B2B thought leader in your market. And you can add new blog posts every month. Just send us your new blog post and we’ll upload it for you.
TOP RANKING SEO
Every one of our client B2B websites already rank #1 in Google for the term, “radio advertising *your market*” and we’re making sure it stays that way. Not only is our new framework built for even better SEO, we went the extra step by taking your media kits off our own CDN (Content Delivery Network) and placed them within your own server domain. That means all the search juice contained in your station media kits will now be indexed and searchable within Google, Bing and Yahoo search engines.
Personal Pricing Page
We studied what the most successful inbound marketing websites are doing to increase the number of prospects to fill out a web lead form versus clicking away. That’s why the new pricing page is personalized with an image of the GM or DOS, a welcome message, advertising menu and radio benefits.
Prominent Pricing Navigation Links
We made the Pricing page link even more noticeable for the desktop, laptop and mobile versions of the new design. Now, it’s not “just another link.” It has its own featured position on the right side of the navigation bar to generate even more clicks. And on mobile devices, it’s highlighted above all the other page links. The more traffic we can drive to the Pricing page, the more web leads you’ll have to create new advertisers.
More Page Links in Navigation Menu
The previous design only had room for links to six pages in the navigation bar. The new design has space for nine, plus the Pricing button/link. All sites have links to Home, Stations, FAQ and Contact (plus Pricing). The two filler links are Glossary and Careers. That means you can have up to five custom links (or three if you’re keeping Glossary and Careers). The most popular links/pages to add are Digital (see below), Reviews (testimonials), Team (sales staff and management), and Creative (commercial and production samples).
New Digital Page
We know how important it is to promote your digital services to new advertising prospects. That’s why we recommend the new Digital page. If the Digital page is not currently in your navigation, it’s because we don’t have any digital pitch information on file for you. No problem. Send us your digital info and we’ll create your new Digital page and add it to your navigation menu.
Home Page Video Panel
The new home page video panel features a generic pro-radio video. But, we know some markets would like to have their own video to be featured on the home page. No problem. Just let us know and and we’ll share how to provide us the embed code for your own custom video.
Here’s an example of a custom home page video from Denver.
Custom Home Page Backgrounds
The default home page background is a cool, looping stock video of a blinking studio/production board. But, you can give the new design your own identity. Including an image that represents your market. If you want to create your own, unique home page background look, just ask and we’ll provide you the size and specs of the type of image that will work best.
And the bling bonuses are even part of the little things we thought of for you. Including a company branded favicon that appear in browser tabs and company branded icons that appear in your mobile navigation.
Enjoy and maximize the new upgrades and features. Be sure to contact me with any questions, suggestions or comments.
